This winery is the perfect place to visit after a day of culture in the intense city of Naples. A short drive will reward you with a lovely visit to enjoy a tasting, very close to Pozzuoli, but which feels a world away from any town at all.
The Varchetta family can has been here for four generations dedicating itself to grape-growing and wine-making. The results from cultivating local indigenous vines such as Piedirosso and Falanghina are easy to drink wines typical of the area. Do try the Vesuvio Lacryma Christi Bianco and Campi Flegrei Falanghina Colle Imperatrice.
