The proprietors are 2 families: Sirri and Casadei, who began the winery in 1965. From the start the selection of local grapes from the local vineyards in Bertinoro made for good-quality wine. After 20 years, the renewal began in the vinification system and they continue to maintain their high quality by focusing on the typical grapes in the region to make typical wines. Currently Celli carefully select grapes from 9 vineyards located in the hills of Bertinoro at 120 – 270 meters above sea level for a total of 40 hectares. These vineyards are 15-25 years old. They control everything about the process from the land and breeding to the pruning and harvest. Terroir, microclimate and sun all contribute to makes these wines easy to appreciate.
