Tenuta Rocca di Fabbri

It was the French Benedictine who introduced vineyards and wine making to the Montefalco region in the province of Perugia.  However this was abandoned in the 16th century.  It was the Umbrian Pietro Vitali, in search of a terrain in which to produce and excellent wine who founded this very successful Cantina Rocca di Fabbri.
