This area, a short distance form Lake Garda, is noted for its Bronze Age remains. Le Fraghe is owned and run by Matilde Poggi who makes the red Quaiare wine from Cabernet grapes and Camporengo wine entirely from the Garganega grape. Do try the Bardolino Chiaretto Ròdon rosé with its inviting coral color, tasting of hints of strawberry and raspberry.
