This winery is situated in the heart of the Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOC district. Founded in 1981 as an initiative of two Ragusa families, the Jacono and the Ferreris, they cultivate local vines – Frappato, Nero d’Avola (Lettie Teague of the WSJ describes, “marked by a dark berry fruit and a lively acidity, it’s a juicy and very drinkable wine”) and Inzolia, in order to promote and develop the wine industry in their region.
