There are few winemakers left in Reggio Calabria today which have been known, since olden times, for its wines. One of the few is Vinitripodi an old familty run business. It grows Nerello, Greco Bianco, Mantonico grapes as well as the more rare Guardavalle grape which grows only in Calabria.
