This winemaker has passed its enthusiasm down through 10 generations and today is one of Italy’s most famous and well-respected labels. Among the wide range of its masterly wines Aglianico is the leader. Naturalis Historia takes its name from the eclectic Roman author, who died in the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 A.D., Pliny the Elder’s encyclopedic work.
